Wanted: A motorcycle (or a rolling chassis of a motorcycle) for an Electric Vehicle (EV) conversion.
Here's what I'm looking for:
- Needs to be mechanically sound and safe (good frame, brakes, tires, bearings, hydraulics, etc). Trying to keep the overall conversion budget low by not having to invest a tonne in fixing something up.
- Clean Title (need to get it registered)
- Does not need a motor/engine (replacing with an electric motor)
- Does not need a transmission (will run direct from electric motor to rear tire with chain or belt)
- Would be nice to be a model where replacement parts are easy to find.
